Apple talks with private Medicare plans to propose its watch to at-risk seniors

Apple already signed a deal with Aetna and United Healthcare and is in talk with at least three private Medicare plans. Nothing is yet official, but the goal is to have the Apple Watch subsidized as an health tracker for people over 65. The insurers are exploring ways to subsidize the cost of the device for those who can’t afford the minimum price tag of the smartwatch.
